Practical Life

Practical Life exercises are simple tasks which are based on reality, and excite children as they are allowed to imitate adults. Familiar objects are used such as buttons, jugs, and children practice life activities such as buttoning, pouring and washing. Acquiring these skills foster self-confidence in children and in the process, they perfect their coordination skills and lengthen their span of concentration.  Good working habits are instilled in the children as they learn to put away materials after completing each task.
