Enrichment and after school programmes*
Enrichment and after school programmes offer a great opportunity for young children to explore their interests, learn while playing, make friends and develop confidence and high self-esteem in the formative years.
Working parents wish to have a safe, secure and engaging environment for the child while they are away at work. The children’s house is not only a preschool but also a trusted companion in the growth and development of your child. Having a daycare that you can trust is a great relief for the parents.
Helps in the development of social skills
The extra time that children spend with their friends helps them to improve their social skills as they learn to interact and communicate during different team activities.
The after school and enrichment activities aim to create a happy and motivated child while promoting the physical, cognitive, social, emotional and language skills of the child through various activities.
In The children’s house we offer a wide range of before- and after-school child care programs, which vary by school. Some of the programs include:
Ballet and Dance
ABC Music & Me Music
Art and craft
Languages- Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin

A healthy alternative to a sedentary lifestyle
In a digital era where multiple screens dominate the lives of our children, enrichment and after school activities provide a healthy alternative to improve the physical activity of the child through opportunities for outdoor play, dance, sports and many more.
Help the children discover new interests
The after school activities take the children beyond the basic learning of ABC and other academic lessons. Children get an opportunity to explore their abilities and interests through a range of activities such as music, art, play, dance, science and more.
Learning it the Montessori way
The didactic learning materials in the Montessori method of education have been thoughtfully designed through years of extensive research by Dr Maria Montessori. Everything at the preschool is child-sized and child-friendly and the curriculum strives to meet the individual needs of the child instead of binding them in a rigid sequence. The learning materials in the Montessori approach work on all the vital areas of child development.
Real materials such as bowls, spoons, and trays are included to help the child imitate physical tasks. The home-like activities of spooning, pouring, carrying and many more are incorporated to enhance the child’s concentration, develop coordination and movement and above all foster independence.
The sensory materials are designed for the multi-sensory development of the child which includes refining the child’s senses such as tactile, auditory, visual, chromatic, gustatory and more.
