At The children’s house, we focus on getting things right at the very start. The Award Winning curriculum for infants was developed by Learning Vision Singapore, a member of the Busy Bees Southeast Asia family and has proved to be highly popular at our centre at Tunas Kijang, The Central Bank of Malaysia’s Corporate Childcare Facility.
Holistic learning and care for your toddler
The programme for infants and pre-toddlers is holistic in nature and aims to focus on optimum periods of learning which are a characteristic of development in the first three years of the child. The environment at the childcare is specially designed to support, respect and respond to the sensorial development of the baby.
The holistic curriculum at the preschool focuses on the development of the infant’s physical, perceptual, cognitive, language, sensory, motor, and social-emotional skills. The three distinct features that guide the core curriculum of the infant and pre-toddler programme are caregiving, play and attachment.
Routine caregiving at The children’s house Aman Walk focuses on interactions that are responsive, respectful and reciprocal in nature. Play helps the children to acquire physical, cognitive, emotional and language skills. The social and moral values developed in the process also help the infants grow and become contributing members of society.
The curriculum of attachment is demonstrated through a loving environment at the daycare where trust and care are nurtured to help encourage exploration and learning, leading to the development of self-esteem, confidence and self-identity.
The Montessori method of teaching believes that children are endowed with a magical capacity to learn and absorb information from the world around them. The self-correcting feature of the didactic materials developed by Dr Maria Montessori ensures that each child is able to learn at their own pace while fostering a sense of independence in them.
Even after a century of its creation, the Montessori method of teaching still remains relevant and stand the test of time.
