The children’s house (TCH) is proud to welcome its new member to the TCH family of well-established preschools, TCH Bukit Jalil City Senior Campus. The trusted preschool takes another step forward in bringing the best Montessori offering for families in the Bukit Jalil City area. The strategic location offers convenience for parents living and working around the area.

Officiated in 2020, the triple-storey building offers spacious and conducive areas for child learning, development and growth. Children also experience learning opportunities through play with dedicated play areas that help them develop their motor and social skills. Each classroom is built to inspire learning and independence, and is equipped with dynamic Montessori tools and materials. Both the prepared learning environment coupled with an award-winning preschool curriculum, are crucial to a child’s overall development. The children also benefit from the guidance and care of our lovely ‘aunties’ who nurture them through their education process. 

The children’s house Bukit Jalil City Senior Campus offers the Montessori junior programme for children between the age of 4 to 6 years, where children are able to unveil their highest potential under the mindful interaction and gentle care of our loving aunties.

In our preparatory centre, lessons maintain a Montessori-focused delivery while gradually shifting from play-and-learn to emphasise on academics such as reading, writing, language and mathematics that prepare children for formal schooling. 

What sets our Bukit Jalil City centres apart from the rest is how the two sister centres interact. The Junior campus and Senior campus provide not only convenience to parents, but a wholesome and well-rounded education that caters to children as young as 8 months to 6 years of age. 

Our multicultural background also provides children a great insight in learning the different nationalities and cultures, giving each child one step further into a globalised world. 

The Montessori approach is a method that has existed for over 100 years, thanks to Maria Montessori, an Italian physician, educator and innovator. It recognises 5 core components that are critical to a child’s learning; Practical Life, Sensorial, Number Work, Language and Culture. At The children’s house, the environment at each centre is meticulously designed to enhance the children’s learning experience. Each area is cultivated and influenced by the core Montessori components that are crucial for children to reach their fullest potential. 

The prepared learning environment gives children freedom within limits to choose the material they want to work on, based on their interests. This method allows a child to develop a deep love for purposeful work, independent learning and eventually, grow to become lifelong learners.

When working within uninterrupted periods of time, a child gains the concentration and progress in their interest naturally.

At our senior campus, children between the ages of four and six are able to further enhance their skills in all areas of learning including cognitive, social and emotional, as well as physical. Our ‘aunties’ are particularly attentive to the sensitive changes in a child’s development, and are always encouraging children and adjusting the lessons to ensure children are better able to transition into formal schooling.

With over 30 years in educational experience across Malaysia and an award-winning curriculum, The children’s house has earned the recognition of parents living in Malaysia and solidified trust.

Activities at the Bukit Jalil City Senior Campus preschool include Practical Life activities such as spooning, pouring and transferring. These activities develop concentration, motor coordination and balance in children which naturally fosters a sense of independence. 

There is also material available designed to stimulate and help children gain a better understanding of languages. Through phonetics, the study of speech sounds, children learn pronunciation and word identification. Regular practice of this technique among others at The children’s house, helps each child to read and speak simple words which eventually take the form of sentences. Each programme is focused on preparing the child for the next stage of their lives.
